FLORENT MALOUDA says Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was WRONG to sack former manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Italian Ancelotti was axed in May, despite steering the Blues to their first-ever Double a year earlier.
Andre Villas-Boas succeeded Ancelotti but France midfielder Malouda reckons his old boss should have stayed put.
Malouda, who hit the winner against West Brom on Saturday, said: "We won the Double and then Carlo gets fired. It wouldn't happen to Alex Ferguson.
"But I like the new manager and hope he sticks around. We need consistency."
Malouda also hailed the £26million capture of Juan Mata from Valencia, adding: "He'll be a good addition."
