ARSENAL have enjoyed some unbelievable triumphs in the 15 years Arsene Wenger has been boss.
But if they finish this season in the top four, it will be up there with Wenger's greatest achievements during his reign.
And if they do so without adding to the squad in January, it would be even more incredible because — for all the turnaround in results — Wenger needs to strengthen.
There is already a lot of humble pie being served up to those who criticised them earlier in the season — me included. And nothing would give me more pleasure than seeing the Gunners continue in their current form.
Let's be honest, anyone who saw their first three Premier League games feared the worst after they picked up one point and were thrashed 8-2 at Old Trafford.
So to see them now sitting in fifth place after six wins and a draw is fantastic. They are also the only English club already through to the Champions League knockout stages without having to sweat on getting a result in tonight's tricky final group game away to Olympiakos. But I do fear they are only one injury away from everything changing once again.
And by that one injury, I obviously mean Robin van Persie.
RVP is flying at the moment. He's netted 14 of the 30 Premier League goals Gunners have scored and you fancy him every time he's on the pitch right now.
But without a decent support striker to share the burden, that's a heck of a lot of pressure to put on one man.
Thomas Vermaelen is vital at the back and Laurent Koscielny has been hugely impressive.
Yet I do think they still need someone else back there because Per Mertesacker does worry me at times.
When Jack Wilshere is back bossing the midfield, having Emmanuel Frimpong alongside would save Arsenal a few million in the transfer window.
But Van Persie is proving what I've said all along: that only injuries have stopped him being a major force already. Robin has had his injury problems in the past, though, and does Arsene honestly believe he can continue to carry the goalscoring burden for the entire season?
I was delighted to see Arsenal's four goals at Wigan on Saturday came from four different players. I hope that is a sign of things to come.
But, as impressed as I have been at the way everyone has responded after that shocking start, there are still a few causes for concern.
Yes, I know Gervinho is a great dribbler and creates a lot, I'm a huge Theo Walcott fan and young Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has the world at his feet and looks ready for it now as well.
But Arsenal getting into the top four is still a mighty ask.
The two Manchester clubs will surely take two places.
Chelsea, for all their current struggles, will still be in their fighting, while Liverpool and Spurs are playing some good stuff right now.
That's why I think Arsene could rank this season among the best of his managerial career if they make it.
And no one will be cheering more loudly than me if they do.
